40′ HC OS, i.e., a 12 m raised Open Side shipping container. This practical container differs from a traditional shipping container due to its door structure: the long side of the container opens, which makes loading and unloading considerably easier, especially for long goods, equipment, and project cargo. (OS/Open Side means that in addition to the end doors, the long side can also be opened.) The container is approximately 30 cm taller than a standard 20′ Open Side shipping container.

The side door is a folding door solution that can also be opened partially (e.g., 1/4, 1/2, or fully) as needed. The container complies with the ISO standard and is suitable for use as both storage and freight (CSC). The containers are equipped with ventilation valves as standard, and the floor material is typically plywood or bamboo. All doors can be locked with a padlock, and our rental containers are equipped with a welded protective cover.

The 40′ HC OS is particularly well suited for handling long goods and equipment, as it can be easily loaded from the side with a forklift. In addition, the 40′ HC OS works well at events, for pop-up use, and for temporary work and exhibition solutions when a lot of open wall space and plenty of room are needed.
